I've used the archive for years now and have grown quite dependant upon it. I don't post here very often any longer but I still read everything that comes across the list, yes, even the silly stuff. As for the difficulty in searching the archives? I've not really had that problem, but then perhaps taking the time to learn HOW to use the search features might have something to do with that. As for there being lots of other harddrives around, that was a silly comment to make. Kind of like a 9 on the old DUH meter. I myself have several drives and a lot of space but I don't have the time, the skill nor the access to provide that service for others to use. Apparently few people have the combination of all the above or there would be multiple archives with different search tools at each site. Dominic, I hope you change your mind and bring the site back up. But if you don't, I can certainly understand. It's tiresome to provide a service for people, for free, and then get busted in the chops for doing it. Thank you for maintaining it as long as you did. I've used it hundreds of times and will miss the ease and convience of finding the answers to my questions. Sincerely, Doug Brewer
