I may be off mark here, but from the looks of your output, your trying to read in a word, when what is actually on that line in the file is something else (possibly a description?). I would find the last object shown in that output, and look at the objects directly following it to make sure they follow the format for objects. (ie
make sure the object(s) in question aren't missing any fields.)

I don't really think it's a pfile that's causing it, as I deleted all of
them. The areas, however, are the problem. It seems that every time a long
desc exceeds 64 characters, it will give this error, and it does not do so on
an x86 based machine. Perhaps there is something in the code that should be
changed?
