If I remember correctly. When you oedit create an
object...then attempt to load said object, mud crashes
because there is no "material" set? I had this problem
for quite some time before I tracked it down. My fix
was to tell all my builders not to load objects unless
they made sure to set *something* for the material
until I found the file that contained the information
for oedit create and set something for the material. I
don't recall the file, and my code is on my linux box
which is undergoing a gentoo install at the moment.
But search the olc files for the oedit "create"
function and there should be a list of values that the
mud will set your new object to. Just add one for
material type and your all set. As far as the other
question...again It's in my linux box which is
undergoing gentoo install, when its done I can get
back to you :)
