To do that, use the "display" function. like "display ch->pcdata->gold" or something.. and eachc ommand it will show the output of the data. I can get spammy.
I am a command line lover of gdb.. but there are others like DDD, XXGDB that can help you keep track as it would parse the command line of gdb.
