In that case, your easiest method is probably to create a flag (NOTE_STICKY
or something), and when set, the time on the note is auto reset to
current_time anytime the UNREAD function is run. My quickest and easiest
thought anyway.

it and it won't get automatically moved up/down and/or deleted, I believe.

Anyone know of a way to do this? Would I have to restructure the way
notes are done? I thought of doing this with a bool added to the note
struct....has anyone already done it so I dont have to re-invent the
wheel, or failing that suggest the easiest way to implement it?
