More specifically, they are used [hopefully] often in the ROM code to make
char buf[]'s in the functions. The larger MIL, the more text a player can
type into the mud at once. The larger the MSL, the larger the buf[]'s will
be. Keep in mind that increasing these too high will eat up *a lot* of
mem...
