if you have ext2 partition and midnight commander you could try to use its
undelete feature, never tried it, but since it's been there for some years now,
i would imagine that it does work to some degree :)
another way would be to dump your whole partition to another drive in a file
and then use some binary utility to cut the source out of it, since ext2
doesn't delete the files, just marks them as deleted so they can be reused
later, you have some chance of getting your stuff back, but that is alot of
work, more than i would be willing to put in it .. :)
