Try reading the book on the void function... While you're at it, try
reading the book on bool and int as well.
If you want help don't flame the people who help you, or who offer you
assistance, simply because you don't want to take the assistance they
offer, without expecting a flame in return.
Nowhere in that email did I flame you. I simply gave advice that you
didn't want to take.
If you want help on generic coding, I suggest you subscribe to a c
mailing list, as that's more what this is..
Void is a function that usually returns just that (void).. If you want
to pass something to it, you need to use args (blah blah blah). You CAN
do it inside of the function itself, like :
Void recall ();
{
CHAR_DATA *ch;
CHAR_DATA *victim;
Etc
Etc
Etc
Return;
}
However, if you do it this way, you're essentially making more work for
yourself, because you have to declare who/what (ch) is, who/what
(victim) is, etc, etc, inside of the function.
