Position Announcement The United States Peace Corps in Romania seeks qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Community Economic Development Program Assistant. The Community Economic Development Program Assistant is responsible for assisting the Program Manager with the Community Economic Development program, including training design, project planning, monitoring and evaluation; technical and administrative support for Volunteers. Successful candidates will have the following qualifications: . A university degree in business administration, non-profit management, public administration or another closely related field; . Previous experience and proven capability in training adults, preferably foreigners; . Practical experience in implementing government programs, business support unit administration, or other related activities at the national or community level; . Capability to provide technical assistance as needed; . Demonstrated ability to maintain working level contacts with program partners, both Romanian and foreign . Prior work experience reflecting responsibility in program administration; . Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment under normal as well as complex and often stressful conditions; . Strong computer skills in word-processing and database management; . Ability to work effectively as part of an inter-cultural team; . Excellent interpersonal skills; and .
