Public Relations Officer - REF: CST-PRO
UNDP in cooperation with the Romanian Government is implementing the project 00037215 � "Support to training of managers in the public sector through the Romanian Government Special Scholarships" (www.undp.ro/governance/scholarships.php). In this context, UNDP is seeking candidates for the above position within the project team.
Responsibilities: The Public Relations Officer will be responsible for designing and implementing the overall public relations strategy of the scholarship programme, managing media contacts, drafting project-related documents, etc. More details are available at http://www.undp.ro/job/.
Required qualifications: University degree in a relevant field (masters degree is an advantage); excellent command of English language, both written and spoken; work experience as PR officer/spokesperson; computer literacy; excellent communication skills; be able to work in a team.
The position is open to Romanian nationals. The duty station is Bucharest. Selected candidates will be offered an initial contract for 3 months (trial period), with possibility of extension subject to performance evaluation.
