How to be a Peaceworker is a practical training
programme for individuals interested in working for
peace and conflict transformation in their communities
or internationally. The training will identify skills
and tools for peaceworkers, what peaceworkers do, and
how to prepare for work in conflict situations in our
communities, countries and globally.
About the Trainer � Kai Frithjof Brand-Jacobsen is
founder and Director of the Peace Action, Training and
Research Institute of Romania (PATRIR) and Co-Director
of TRANSCEND. He has worked in Afghanistan, Somalia,
India, Pakistan, Nepal, Colombia, Russia, South
Eastern Europe, North America, and the Middle East at
the invitation of governments, inter-governmental
organisations, UN agencies, and local organisations
and communities and is co-author of Searching for
Peace: The Road to TRANSCEND.
