The 1st IRN Conference of International Social Work will take place in Innsbruck, Austria, September
30 - October 3, 2005. The IRN conference will be a place
where scholars interested in social work can come together to discuss questions
arising from the internationalization of social work. It is a forum for
discussing these questions in an intellectually stimulating atmosphere. In
contrast to other conferences where one is pressed into a '20-minutes-plus-10-minutes-discussion-scheme',
we will provide enough time and space for you to engage in a more detailed
discussion with your international colleagues. By limiting the number of
presenters to 30, everyone has about 1 1/4 hour for his or her presentation.
