Hello everybody,

Firstly one clarification: this project was NOT funded by the
Romanian Socrates National Agency. Anyway, in Socrates each National
Agency grants the money for traveling to other countries (not the
events that are organized in its country).

Secondly: this is NOT a typical situation! But rather one BIG
exception and failure of communication among partners! And here I
mean regarding to Grundtvig and specially to Grundtvig 2 projects!
Most projects I know are running quite smooth and they are doing a
great job. Just to settle things and I guess that there are plenty of
people that can confirm that on the list (some already did)!

This is the FIRST project with such a critical way to handle it I've
got to know in five years since Grundtvig 2 is running. As a
representative of the Grundtvig department in the Romanian National
Agency for Community Programs in the Field of Education and
Vocational Training (as the present agency formed by the previous
Socrates and Leonardo agencies is called) I am just pleading not to
make it a reference point but rather a lesson to learn from and avoid
it in the future.

There are many things that can be said, and even more ways to
interpret whatever will be said. So I will stop here looking forward
to a answer to the accusations that were brought and no further
comments.

In the end, this message is in English and will not be translated in
Romanian. For one good reason: the partnership language was English
(as far as I could see in the e-mails sent), so it means all partners
should at least understand this language, if not speak it! And I also
think it is only honest for all the parts involved to understand
fully what this is all about if we are to be fair!

All the best from Bucharest,
Andrei Popescu
RNACPFEVP, Grundtvig Department

PS This message was written on personal behalf and it is not an
official position of the agency!
