Program activities Action 1: Establishment and Operation of a Central European University Network A network shall comprise at least three universities and two of them shall belong to different CEEPUS countries. In case of Joint Programs only (see below as Action 5.) a network might consist of two universities that belong to different CEEPUS countries. Any university wishing to participate in a CEEPUS network shall meet the following requirements: * Complete mutual recognition of periods of studies at partner institutions. * Efforts to develop joint curricula and a system to facilitate the mutual recognition of studies. * Lectures and courses in English, German or French. * No student and registration fees for CEEPUS students. Action 2: Intensive Courses - Summer schools These courses are designed to attract participants from as many CEEPUS countries as possible, including the host country. Action 3: Student Excursions These two- or three-day excursions serve a scientific and/or artistic purpose and make use of a specific part of the infrastructure of the host country, or serve a scientific and/or artistic purpose and are jointly organized. Action 4: Student and Teacher Mobility Scholarships for: * undergraduate students: min. duration: 3 months max. duration: 10 months * undergraduate students with the purpose of diploma work, PhD/postgraduate students and teachers: min. duration: 1 month max. duration: 10 months Action 5: Joint Programs At least two universities belonging to different CEEPUS countries develop a common curriculum giving joint degree: Cooperations are possible in the frame of: * These en cotutelle * Double/multiple degrees * Joint degrees ------------------------ Yahoo!
