Dear colleagues and friends,
Reaching its tenth issue, the Romanian Journal of Society and Politics continues to encourage the submission of high-quality original manuscripts which fall within its general scope or which address the specific theme of an individual issue. The tenth issue of the RJSP, to appear early next year, will address the theme: RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS. In this regard, we welcome contributions that focus on the topic of rights and freedoms at the individual and collective level in contemporary Romania. More specifically, we encourage an interdisciplinary approach of issues such as freedom of expression, religion, assembly, minority rights vs. majority rule, the right to self-determination, gender equality, right to economic and social development. In addition, the RJSP also considers book reviews of up to 1,000 words and review essays of up to 5,000 that assess the value of the works reviewed for research on Romanian politics and society. Review essays must place publications into a broad conceptual context and suggest directions for future research.
