Dear colleagues;
We are two institutions which had decided to work on a Leonardo Da Vinci Pilot Project together from Turkey and Spain. We are looking for vocational schools which has an electricity or electronic part to participate our Project.
PROJECT IDEA ;
Using Outdoor Activities as a learning method for Vocational Education
SUMMARY;
One of the most difficult side of Education is salience of pupils. Every students want to be outdoor. If they want it we have to give what they want for their education. We have to find the way of using outdoor and environmental education for vocational education.
There are a lot of difficult basic rules in vocational education. Playing games is more exciting that listening lessons for pupils. Depending on this idea, we will create games, dramas, pantomimes or something else by mixing our experiences and cultures for teaching hard vocational rules. So that, We will make them understand the rules easily and we will improve their creativeness.
POSSIBLY BASIC PROJECT PLAN :
Preparing work plan
Designing a web site to have a platform for communication and following the project
Deciding the name of lesson or subjects
Searching for curriculum differences of countries
Making brain storming what will be done for subjects (game, drama or etc)
Practicing this with our own pupils recording with a camera
Uploading this videos to our web site
Showing the activities to the others
Finding the best way for teaching this subject
POSSIBLY RESULTS :
Creating a new learning method for vocational education
Writing an 'Outdoor activities for vocational education' book
Preparing Video films which shows the games, dramas etc
Getting ability of using outdoor activities for our own profession
