Description of the organisation : TURKISH REPUCLIC MINISTERY OF
EDUCATION TEKÝRDAÐ – SARAY VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION CENTER
Our school is an institution which gives vocational and technical
education.There are 800 students between 14-18 years old,40
teachers,2 civil servants,3 caretakers and a cook in our
school.There are 19 classrooms,9 workshops,a library and a hall in
the school.There are 7 departments in the school.These are :
Electrics,Computer,Furniture and Decoration,Textile,Children
Development and Education,Metalwork and Mechanical Painting
Department.Outdoor production activities are done especially in
Furnýture and Decoration Department and in Metalwork Department.
Except this;the school organizes cultural and sport activities and
also many different activities for the students .In these activities
our school football team,cross-country team and folk dance group
have acquired successes around the city.The production activities of
the students are shown to the public every year in an exhibition.

Description of own project idea/interest area : THE SUMMARY OF THE
PROJECT The aim of the Project is to examine "AUTOCAD" and the other
computer supported design lesson situations.methods and curriculum
applied in E.U.country schools. This project is for the teachers in
the schools and firms that gives vocational and tecnical education.
Today,each production activity has a production stage.These designs
are made with different pocket programmes on computers. "AUTOCAD"
has been used in Mechanical Painting Department since 1994 in our
country and this department enables qualified trained workers for
the mechanical industry . Starting from 2006;practical lessons
related to this subject will be started in the departments such as
Metalwork,Furniture and Decoration,Mechanics and Mold , Motors.
Thanks to this project the teachers who will teach this lesson for
the first time are going to have a deep knowledge about
the "AUTOCAD" learning sitvations and methods.
