[romania_eu_list] Need 2 EU environmental trainers

  Hello everybody!     Between 1 October 2005 – 31 October 2006, Corona Foundation – Romania, in cooperation of the Environmental Protection Agencies from North East Region of Moldavia, implements the project titled Implication of environmental NGOs in Action Plans for Environmental Protection.      ABOUT THE PROJECT:  The project aims to strengthening the involving capacity of the environmental NGOs from the North East Region of Moldavia in the implementation of the communitaire acquis in the field of environmental protection.      18 NGOs will be informed and trained by Romanian lecturers regarding sustainable development, Romanian and EU sustainable development strategies, and most important, how they may
 involve in the implementation of the Local Action Plans for Environmental Protection (LAPEP).       Local Action Plans for Environmental Protection are a new issue in Romania. Normally, under the coordination of the Environmental Protection Agencies, the community public authorities, economic operators, universities, schools, land owners and NGOs work together in order to identify the key environmental problems and solve them within the LAPEP. Public authorities really need the involvement of the environmental NGOs when they elaborate and implement the LAPEP.      WHAT WE NEED?  Because we are at the beginning, and the NGOs are not properly informed and involved in how to work in this LAPEP, how to inform the public about the priorities and problems of the local area and how they may be solved, we are looking for 2 foreign lecturers from EU, who may offer good-practice examples regarding the role and the involvement of the NGOs from their countries in the implementation of these LAPEP.     We need from you one day presentation (around 4 hours presentation , and 2-3 hours talking with the auditorium – 18 representatives of NGOs and 6 representatives of the Environmental Protection Agencies). The accommodation and travel costs are covered by the project.
