Short term local senior expert
for strategic review
(part-time, 6 months)
Main
duties
The short term senior expert will assist the
implementation of the main activities in the project in
Romania. Specific responsibilities will include: managing
a team of local specialists; coordination of a study into the influence of
an enhanced TVET system and the impact of previous Phare 2001 and Phare
2002, designing and managing public dissemination mechanisms for the
project, organization of training activities and oversight of project
procurement.

The general profile
requirements:

University degree in education or an equivalent
academic degree;
·
A
minimum of 10 years of professional experience of which a minimum of 3
years within the VET sector;
·
Experience in Phare TVET 0108.01 or Phare 2002 in
the related tasks fields will be considered an advantage
·
Computer skills appropriate for the
assignment;
·
Relevant experience for the required
activities;
·
Language skills: good command of written and
spoken English;
·
Experience in working in international
programmes;
·
Experience of working within a
team.

Short term local senior expert
for quality assurance
(part time, 3 months)
Main
duties:
He/she will assist
the EU Key Expert in organising the monitoring visits and school based
assistance to 122 school directors, deputy general school inspectors, MoER
inspectors, in preparing the monitoring guidelines, organising visits,
reporting back to beneficiary and formulating recommendation papers for
improvement. In case of implementation of the self assessment guide,
he/she will monitor and prepare corrective actions. As for the national
quality framework, he/she will assist the EU Key Expert in preparing the
methodology for implementing the model at both system and provider level,
according to the Law. He/she will work in assisting the system for further
development of quality assurance instruments in order to support the
generalization.
The general
profile:

University degree in education or an equivalent
academic degree;

A
minimum of 10 years of professional experience of which a minimum of 5
years within the VET sector, including experience in quality assurance;
having worked in Phare TVET 0108.01 or Phare 2002 in the related tasks
fields will be considered an advantage;
