Din initiativa unui grup de inimosi salvamontisti, activi in cadrul Serviciului Public Salvamont Bihor - Centrul Salvamont Stei, a fost infiintata ASOCIATIA SALVATORILOR MONTANI STEI.
Obiectivele asociatiei sunt :
- promovarea, sprijinirea si dezvoltarea activitatii de salvare montana
-
educatia acologica si promovarea valorilor pro natura
- dezvoltarea durabila a zonelor montane
