correo FAEAFoundation San Ezequiel Moreno has developed a project titled ADAPTED MATERIAL ON ROAD SAFETY FOR IMMIGRANT WORKERS: The rising number of migrant workers who suffer from the disasters that happen during their journies of going to and returning from the place of work (labour accidents), has pushed us to outline and raise the necessity to create some training actions (that could be independent or complementary to other workshops of labour risk prevention and labour culture) in the structure of a module of road safety for this group. As an objective of this project we see in the first place: the preparation of a common line of work with the partners; in the second place: the preparation of the training material in the subject of road safety ( the learner´s handout (notebook) and the trainer´s material);thirdly: it´s adjustment to the conditions and requirements of different european countries on the behalf of the trainers who will participate in this project.in fourth place: the linguistic and cultural adaptation to the necessities of the migrant workers ( throughout meetings with the involved learners), taking into account the nationalities more found in the partner countries. And finally: the accomplishment of workshop rehearsals with different groups of migrant workers using the prepared material. They are looking for partners from Poland, Bulgaria or Romania to participate in the project. They search for partners in the field of Adult Education, if possible working as well with immigrant population.
