The Delegation of the European Commission in Romania invites you to follow, on its webpage (
http://www.infoeuropa.ro/jsp/page.jsp?cid=211&lid=2&id=24856&changeLangEv=1n ), the debate „Securing Romania's (and EU's) external borders" that took place on March 15th, with the participation of Mrs Anne de Ligne, Head of Section "Pre-Accession Assistance for Social, Justice and Home Affairs Sectors", Mrs Camelia Suica, Team leader of the „Justice and Home Affairs" Dept. with the EC Delegation, and Mrs Eleonora Vergeer, Task Manager for EU Programmes on Border Management.
The debate is part of a programme of weekly meetings with media representatives, over the February 1st – May 12th period, in order to discuss the „red flags" monitored by the European Commission in view of elaborating its Report, to be made public on May 16th 2006.
