"Global Data Modeling Competition starts 1 November 2005
This year, we will be hosting the 6th Annual Global Data Modeling Competition. The competition begins on 1 November 2005 and ends on 02 January 2006 at midnight in the eastern United States time zone. This is an extracurricular project for students currently enrolled in the Database Design and Programming with SQL course. We will be giving away exciting prizes for the top three projects. Remember, if your students win 1st place, they will be invited to present at this summer's International Instructor Institute at UCLA. Best of luck. Hope you all plan to enter!"

The Oracle Academy is designed to educate secondary students (ages 15 to 19) on the fundamentals of Internet and database technology and provide them with the necessary skills to pursue academic and professional opportunities.
