Invitation to the 17th Sustainable Energy Marie Curie Research Fellowships Conference

Saturday 20th to Wednesday 24th May 2006 in Athens, Greece

Organised by the EC DG RTD Sustainable Energy Programme in association
with NCSR Demokritos and University College Cork

We would like to invite Marie Curie Fellows and Hosts performing
research on sustainable energy to the next Sustainable Energy Marie Curie
Research Fellowships Conference from Saturday 20th to Wednesday 24th May 2006
which will be hosted by the NCSR Demokritos Research Centre in Athens. This
is an ideal opportunity for you to broaden your training in sustainable
energy research beyond the confines of your own research field by
meeting other Fellows from throughout Europe working on projects related to
energy research, some who are just beginning and others who have been working
on their projects for one or two years already. Everyone makes a
presentation on the progress of their projects, which you can then discuss with
other fellows and supervisors working in relevant areas. The conference will
also include presentations by keynote speakers, discussion groups on
energy-related topics, and industrial visits on the theme of "Hydrogen
technologies" to the Lavrion Wind/Hydrogen Energy Installation, NCSR
Demokritos Research Laboratories, Psitalia Waste/Energy Recovery Plant,
the CRES Renewable Energies Research Laboratories, and the Public Power
Corporation of Greece.
