Pe data de 29 aprilie 2006, Societatea Romana pentru Educatie Permanenta a organizat la Galati, un eveniment avand ca principal obiectiv promovarea invatarii autonome a limbilor straine.
Evenimentul face parte integranta din proiectul "Lingue in Piazza" , 225857 – CP –1 – 2005 – 1 – IT – LINGUA, proiect cofinantat de Uniunea Europeana, Programul Socrates, Actiunea Lingua 1.
Incepand cu orele 13:00 galatenii au putut asista timp de 5 ore la un maraton al limbilor straine in aer liber, pe faleza Dunarii. Concursuri de potrivit diferite expresii uzuale in 6 limbi europene (italiana, spaniola, germana, engleza, turca si poloneza), teste de limbi straine pe laptop pentru a-si verifica nivelul de cunostinte, concursuri de karaoke, premii constand in dictionare, postere si alte cadouri simbolice, toate acestea au atras atentia cetatenilor de toate varstele din orasul Galati care au participat activ la toate activitatile organizate de Societatea Romana pentru Educatie Permanenta.
In calitate de organizator, Societatea Romana pentru Educatie Permanenta doreste sa multumeasca tuturor celor care au participat la realizarea acestui eveniment – Primaria Orasului Galati, S.C Electrica Galati, S.C PeteaSound S.R.L. si nu in ultimul rand cetatenilor pentru entuziasmul si cooperarea lor.

Dear partners,
On 29th April 2006 Romanian Society for Lifelong Learning organised in Galati an event whose main aim was to promote the autonomous learning of foreign languages.
The event is part of the project "Lingue in Piazza" , 225857 – CP –1 – 2005 – 1 – IT – LINGUA, co-funded by the European Union, Socrates program, Action Lingua 1.
Starting with 13:00 o'clock the people from Galati could take part for 5 hours to a marathon of languages outdoors, on the cliffs of Danube. Contests of matching different usual expressions in 6 European languages (Italian, Spanish, German, English, Turkish and Polish), language tests on laptop for checking their language level, karaoke contest, prizes consisting in dictionaries, posters and other symbolic gifts, all these attracted the attention of the citizens of all ages from the city of Galati who participated actively to all the activities organised by Romanian Society for Lifelong learning.
As organizer of the event, Romanian Society for Lifelong Learning wants to address special thanks to all those who participated to the organizing of this event – the Town Hall of Galati, S.C. Electrica Galati, S.C. PeteaSound S.R.L. and last but not least the citizens for their enthusiasm and cooperation.
