Societatea Romana pentru Educatie Permanenta are placerea sa va tina la curent cu derularea proiectului european SITCOM - "Simulating IT-Careers for wOMen" (Simulare de Cariere IT pentru Femei) 109988- CP-1-2003-1-PL-Minerva-M din cadrul programului Socrates Minerva co-finantat de Comisia Europeana. Organizatia noastra este partener in proiect.
Scopul proiectului este de a folosi potentialul jocurilor de simulare si al jocurilor interactive pentru a motive tinerele intre 12 si 16 ani sa se indrepte catre cariere legate de tehnologie, stiinta si inginerie.
Proiectul se adreseaza atat elevilor cat si profesorilor si consilierilor care pot folosi produsele in activitatea lor profesionala.
In prezent, parteneriatul coordonat de promotorului austriac Danube University din Krems a reusit sa finalizeze platforma de Internet pe care o puteti accesa la adresa: http://www.sitcom-project.eu/
Aici puteti gasi urmatoarele resurse:
q Jocul de simulare a carierei: tinerele isi pot alege una dintre cele 6 profesii abordate: inginer de mediu, inginer in constructii, arhitect, administrator de retea, matematician si manager de proiect IT. Astfel, ele vor putea experimenta o zi obisnuita de lucru din viata unei femei cu profesia aleasa si vor fi puse in situatia de a rezolva sarcini specifice profesiei si de a lua decizii, urmand ca la sfarsitul jocului sa-si fi insusit unele concepte cheie din acel domeniul.
q Biografii ale femeilor de stiinta care pot servi ca un exemplu tinerelor care doresc sa cunoasca cazuri concrete de femei ce practica o cariera stiintifica sau tehnica;
q Materiale didactice pentru profesori si consilieri educationali: scenarii didactice despre modul de folosire al acestor resurse in clasa si in consiliere;
q Link-uri catre alte site-uri utile despre TIC, stiinta si inginerie si catre site-urile institutiilor ce ofera asemenea cursuri (aceasta sectiune va fi disponibila in curand).

Romanian Society for Lifelong Learning has the pleasure to keep you informed with the development of the European project SITCOM - "Simulating IT-Careers for wOMen" 109988- CP-1-2003-1-PL-Minerva-M in the framework of the programme Socrates Minerva co-financed by the European Commission. Our organisation is one of the partners in the project.
The aim of the project is to use the potential of simulations and interactive games to motivate girls in the age of 12 to 16 years to enter educational pathways as related to technology, science and engineering.
The project addresses both students and teachers and counselors who can use the products in their professional activity.

Here you can find the following resources:
q Career simulation game: the girls can choose one of the 6 professions approached: Environmental Engineer, Landscape Engineer, Architect, Network Technician, Mathematician and IT project manager. Thus, can experience a regular working day of a woman in this profession and they will be requested to solve specific tasks and to take decisions, so that at the end of the game they will have acquired certain key concepts related to that field.
q Biographies of women in science that can serve as an example for the girls who want to know real cases of women practicing a scientific or technical career;
q Didactic materials for teachers and educational counselors: didactical scenarios on how to use these resources in class and in counseling;
q Links to other useful sites on ICT, science and engineering and to sites of the institutions that offer such courses (this section will be available soon).
