civil society groups, policy makers and the media about the EIB's
activities and the need for its reform

- Strengthen relations between EU-based NGOs and civil society
groups in developing countries where the EIB is active through
communications links, publications and workshops; and

- Ensure the presence of an informed, critical civil society
voice in the EIB's mid-term assessment in 2010.

This work will take place in EU member states in collaboration with local
partners outside the EU. The project's political work will be led by a Steering
Committee comprising of all the groups active in the NGO consortium.
