The municipality of Belluno (Region of Veneto - North East Italy), since 1996, organizes every year the cultural manifestation "Beyond the peaks" with exibitions of books, paintings, films, theatrical spectacles, typical products etc..which are related with the mountain environment.The programme is various and it can be apprecieted by people interested also in literature, music, cinema, philately. Moreover the city of Belluno intends to organise exhibitions of artstistc works and exbitions of craftmade products. The new programme Culture 2007-2013 - Cooperation measures- supports all the actions that can increase the european "citizen" thanks to project of collaborations among different european municipalities. The municipality of Belluno thinks that "Beyond the peaks" could be included in this european programme. To participate to this programme we need almost 3 different municipalities of 3 different countries and the project should last for maximum 2 years. Obviously the cultural manifestation "Beyond the peaks" must be enrich with other activities and the municipality of Belluno is now working on this aspect.
