Have a look, the website address is: www.environmentforeurope.org. This website is a new information resource service made possible with the support of the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN). This website aims at providing fast access to relevant and reliable information on the "Environment for Europe" process: with one or two mouse clicks only, you can easily access such information, download relevant documents and quickly find links to specialized websites. We are committed to provide information which is not biased and which is up to date and objective. Our goal is to make this website most useful and user friendly. The website features detailed information on the sixth Environment for Europe Ministerial Conference scheduled to take place in Belgrade, Serbia, October 10-12, 2007, as well as information on the history of the "Environment for Europe" process, current mandates and organizational arrangements of implementing institutions, and summaries of completed and ongoing work implemented in various work areas (themes) of the process, including for example: - Biodiversity; sustainable development in mountain areas - Education for sustainable development - Energy efficiency - Environment and security - Environmental finance - Environmental policies, enforcement and compliance - Multilateral environmental agreements - Pan-European state of the environment assessment - Sustainable consumption and production - Water supply and sanitation Don't miss: Most of the documents to be discussed at the upcoming WGSO meeting in Geneva are now available. Throughout our website you will find the links to these latest documents (including many draft final versions of documents, which will be submitted to the Belgrade Environment for Europe Ministerial Conference).
