Proiectul a debutat in Decembrie 2005 si are o durata de doi ani.
Astfel, in perioada 14-21 Septembrie 2006 reprezentantii ONG-urilor insotiti de coordonatorii proiectului au calatorit in Germania si Finlanda, iar in perioada 21-28 Aprilie 2007 in Germania si Olanda. A treia vizita va fi organizata in perioada 23-30 iunie 2007 in Germania si Cehia. Cu stima, Simona Capatan Societatea Romana pentru Educatie Permanenta Dear partners, We would like to keep you informed with the evolution of the European project The Civil Society Organisations in Bulgaria and Romania: On the Way Towards a Europe for All Ages in the framework of the action of the European Commission Networking Programme Civil Society Component Bulgaria and Romania, where our organization is one of the partners. The coordinator of the project is the organization ZNANIE from Bulgaria and the partnership is composed of organizations from Bulgaria, Romania and Czech Republic. The project started in December 2005 and has a duration of two years. The project aims at assisting the Civil Society Organisations in Bulgaria and Romania in strengthening their operations and actions aimed at ensuring equal treatment of all groups of population, especially the "third age" population who are the vulnerable groups and demand special care from the Civil Society institutions. The main aim of the project is to ensure equal treatment for all categories of population. Within the project, 30 NGOs from Bulgaria and Romania were selected and participated to series of seminars aimed at intensifying the activities addressed to the third age population and the phenomenon of "active ageing". The representatives of the NGOs had also the opportunity to participate to two study visits in Europe in order to observe examples of good practices among other European institutions that carry out activities addressed to this segment of population. Thus, in the period 14-21 September 2006 the representatives of the NGOs travelled to Germany and Finland, and in the period 21-28 April 2007 to Germany and Netherlands. The third visit will be organized in the period 23-30 June 2007 in Germany and Czech Republic. Before the study visit, another series of international workshops will be organized in Bulgaria, in the period 16-19 June 2007. It is expected that at the end of the two years of cooperation, the selected NGOs will have strengthened their organisational and managerial capacities to pursue their statutory activities in promotion of active ageing and will have been equipped with methodologies on provision of services, advocacy and fundraising. Thank you in advance for your attention and we will keep you informed. Yours sincerely, Simona Capatan Romanian Society for Lifelong Learning
