*Job Description - Project Coordinator (for environmental campaigns) -
located in Bucharest*
*(40h/week, permanent contract)*



*Planning of Campaigns:*
        Doing research / investigation to get basics for the development of
environmental campaigns
        Set Campaign goals, strategy and tactics
        Creating Campaign plans and proposals

*Implementation of Campaigns:*
        Project management
        Lobbying (high level contacts in politics in and outside Romania and
with Romanian representatives in Brussels/Strassbourg, in authorities,
economy and in the NGO scene)
        Non-violent direct action/demonstration planning
        Press work
        Writing of publications (press releases, factsheets, leaflets,
reports,...), direct communication with journalists and any other
media-related task (e.g. media database, media monitoring)
        Implementation of any other campaign related work (incl. web)
        Provide leadership to the involved people (staff & volunteers)
        Close co-operation with the Greenpeace EU Unit in Brussels & with
Greenpeace International
        Involvement of activists/volunteers in the campaigns


*Requirements:*

        Romanian language: native-speaker level
        Fluent written and spoken English
        Commitment to work for the environment; knowledge about
environmental issues
        Identification with Greenpeace principles (including actions)
        Project coordination/management and / or leadership skills
        Knowledge about the political and economic system in Romania and EU
        Team player
        Good communication skills, including interest to speak in front of
media
        Conflict management skills
        High degree, university level preferred
        NGO or non-profit experience is a plus
