Dear Friends, We as the EU Unit under the Provincial Education Directorate City of Manisa,Turkey work with all kinds of educational institutions from Pre school up to Higher Education.We give seminars about the EU LLP and Youth programmes,and support them with their projects.We as the unit prepare projects ourselves such as Youth,Grundtvig and Leonardo. Now there are some schools who have project ideas,which are about various subjects.They are looking for partner schools to work together.If you are interested in any of the titles please do not hesitate to contact us. 1."Botanical garden" The general aim of the activity is work in the botanical garden in partner schools.methods which the pupils will use in the project are: cleaning and putting in order territory of botanical gardens and greenhouse, namely: clearing away paths, harvesting dry branches, moving off dry up saplings; 2.Science out of labratory The aim of the Project is to take the Science out of the labratory and make it an outdoor activity with its exciting and enjoyable side.Students will go out of the labratory with their science,technology and/or geography teachers and experience outdoor experiments. 3.Entrepreneurs of the future, The aim of the Project is to call the pupils attention to the importance of entrepreneurship.The Project groups formed of the pupils who has entrepreneurship spirit but there should also be pupils with social fobies,timid and lack in self confidence 4."Social theatre" The main aim of the project is organizing of a theatre for preschoolers, schoolchildren, students (children from eight till seventeen years old). The students should hold all consisting work – acting, costume design, scenic art, theatre arts management, lighting, electrics, sound and scenic construction, preparing for events and presentations of the "Social theatre", organizing performances for orphans and disabled persons. 5.Imagine your future, The main aim of the Project is to help migrant children overcome their adaptation problems and help them develop creative skills through digital stories. 6.Science and science fiction ,your verdict, The main aim of the Project is to develop pupils' reading,researching,critical approach to what they read and interpretation skills. To reach this aim the subject of `'The tides between science and science fiction'' will be worked on. I will be looking forward for your answers.
