2009 INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME - CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
Dear students and young graduates,
We are welcoming applications for the next round of internships in thePolitical
Section of the UK Embassy in Bucharest. All internships will run for five
weeks. The prospective intern must have an interest in EU and international
affairs, as well as the Romanian political and economic landscape, and a good
command of spoken and written English.
Tasks will include:
* Supporting the team members in performing their duties and other
related tasks;
* Assisting the Embassy's staff in organising events and visits;
* Working on project-related matters;
* Undertaking research and writing briefings on various policy issues.
The general criteria of selection will bring up:
* knowledge of EU and Romanian political and economic affairs
* previous working experience and interpersonal skills
* knowledge of English
