If you are a Romanian NGO or other kind of youth society which would be willing to send around 6 young people for an youth exchange within the framework of the EU Youth in Action Programme, I am talking to you. We already have groups from Ukraine, Belarus and Poland, but we need a forth nationality.
The action will take place in the last week of August 2009 in a beautiful countryside of the Polis-Ukrainian borderland. The deadline for the application is 1st April, so we need to find such a Romanian group quickly :) Travel costs are 70% raimbursable. Meals and accomodation are fully covered by the organisers. For example, sport during the day, cooking in the afternoon, singing in the evening. Everything in an atmosphere of a scouting camp: big simulation of the Eurorepublic, created by young people. The final moment of the exchange connected to the Border Festival would bring: decoration of a simulation bridge over the river Bug, distribution of the simulated European passport to all participants of the festival, organisation of sport and integration activities for the participants of the festival There would be also a discussion about the meaning of the national borders and of the external EU border for the European continent.
