[RO] Context Începând cu anul 2004, PNUD împreună cu alte Agenţii ONU a organizat un concurs pentru cea mai bună promovare a drepturilor omului. Rezultatele concursului sunt anunţate în public în cadrul Ceremoniei de Premiere şi a Galei Drepturilor Omului, care se organizează în fiecare an în data de 10 decembrie. Elementele de bază ale Galei din 2009 vor fi: a 20-a aniversare a Convenţiei Drepturilor Copilului, a 15-a aniversare a Conferinţei Internaţionale pentru Populaţie şi Dezvoltare şi a 30-a aniversare a Convenţiei privind eliminarea tuturor formelor de discriminare împotriva femeilor. ONU prevede elaborarea unui Premiu Mare pentru Drepturile Omului într-o formă durabilă, care să circule în rândurile celor mai buni promotori selectaţi ai Drepturilor Omului în decurs de 12 luni. Echipa de Ţară ONU aşteaptă cu nerăbdare primirea solicitărilor de participare la concursul pentru elaborarea Marelui Premiu, Logoului şi Motoului din partea rezidentilor moldoveni de orice vârstă, sex, naţionalitate, companiilor sau organizaţiilor înregistrate, grupurilor de rezidenţi, inclusiv tinerilor şi copiilor, altor părţi cointeresate rezidente în Moldova. Solicitările de participare pot fi depuse până-n 30 octombrie 2009 la următoarea adresă: MD-2012, Chişinău, str. 31 August 1989, nr. 131 în atenţia: Ofiţerului de Procurări/Oficiu, sau în format electronic la adresa: [email protected]. [ENG] Background Promotion of human rights is one of the major priorities of the United Nations Country Team in Moldova. Starting with 2004, UNDP and other UN Agencies have been organizing a competition for the best promotion of human rights aimed at awarding the most valuable initiatives and actions promoting human rights carried out by non-government organizations and mass media. The results of the competition are made public during the Human Rights Gala and Awards Ceremony, which is organized annually on December 10, Human Rights Day. The competition is organized by the United Nations Country Team in Moldova and other organizations active in the promotion of human rights in Moldova. In 2009, the Gala will highlight the 20th anniversary of the Convention for the Rights of the Child, the 15th anniversary of the International Conference for Population Development and the 30th anniversary of the Convention for Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. Starting from 2009, the United Nations in Moldova is aiming at sustaining the results of the Human Rights Gala throughout the year. For this, the UN envisages to develop a Grand Prix for the Human Rights in a form of a solid which will rotate among the selected best promoters of Human Rights through 12 months.
