The programme of activities aims at associating young people, through governmental and non-governmental youth partners, with the aims and priorities of the youth policy of the Council of Europe. The participants in the education and training activities are multipliers who, within their youth organisations or institutions, are involved in training other young people and/or in designing activities and programmes that put into practice the values, standards and objectives that preside over the youth policy of the Council of Europe. The use of non-formal learning principles is combined with experiential learning approaches, the most apt at making the learning experiences meaningful and relevant. Activities are implemented in accordance with quality standards agreed with partners of and participants in the activities. The quality of these activities depends, to a large extent, on the competences and abilities of the facilitators of these educational processes, many of whom are volunteers within youth and community organisations. This manual was developed in order to support them in that role, particularly when they are part of the educational teams of study sessions at the European Youth Centre. The manual provides essential information and practical tips for all who are involved in planning and delivering non-formal education intercultural activities on an occasional basis. This manual is part of the endeavor of the Council of Europe's youth sector to support and develop the quality of non-formal education activities across Europe and, in doing so, contribute to further their recognition. <http://book.coe.int/img/EN/espaceur.gif> <http://book.coe.int/img/EN/espaceur.gif> Author(s) : Edited and co-written by Sabine Klocker ISBN : 978-92-871-6602-9 Format : A4 No. of pages : 95 Price : 9 €/ 18 $ + 10% postage To have 50% reduction please download and fill in form at: http://www.coe.ro/publicatii_traduceri.php To place an order directly <http://book.coe.int/img/EN/puce_rond_bleu.gif> http://book.coe.int/sysmodules/RBS_page/admin/redirect.php?id=36 <http://book.coe.int/sysmodules/RBS_page/admin/redirect.php?id=36<=EN&produit_aliasid=2459> 〈=EN&produit_aliasid=2459 <http://book.coe.int/img/EN/logo_bon_commande2.gif> Council of Europe Publishing Palais de l'Europe, 67075 Strasbourg Cedex, France E-mail : [email protected] Visit our site : http://book.coe.int Tel. : +33 (0)3 88 41 25 81 Fax : +33 (0)3 88 41 39 10 If you can't read this mail, please use the following URL : http://book.coe.int/sysmodules/RBS_page/admin/redirect.php?id=36 <http://book.coe.int/sysmodules/RBS_page/admin/redirect.php?id=36<=EN&produit_aliasid=2459> 〈=EN&produit_aliasid=2459 Mariana NITELEA Director Information Office of the Council of Europe 6, Alexandru Donici Street, Bucharest 2, 020478 Romania tel: 4021 211 6810, fax: 4021 211 9997 Internet: www.coe.ro P Be environmentally friendly: do not print this email unless it is entirely necessary No virus found in this incoming message.
