CASA ROMANA - Bay Area Romanian Community, CREEES - Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies, Stanford University, and THE ROMANIAN CULTURAL INSTITUTE in BUCHAREST are organizing * CENSORSHIP AND (R)EVOLUTION* *Romanian Film Festival at Stanford University, April 16, 17, 18, 2010.* FREE ADMISSION All films will be screened one time only, in Romanian with English subtitles. The Festival will include fiction feature films, documentaries, and shorts. Special guests from Romania will join us after the screenings. A panel discussion on the topic of the Romanian Cinema will bring film and theater scholars in front of the public. We need your help. You can get involved in one (or more) of the following ways: - financial donation (tax deductible; money still needed for screening logistics, guests' meals + local transportation, and other). - volunteering during the festival (please inquire for details).
