I have a buttload of spam and ham available...as root, I run:  
   
 sa-learn --spam --mbox /path/to/spam  
 sa-learn --ham --mbox /path/to/ham  
   
 Or, I can also take the bayesian database that I've already built, and 
put it into the root user's .spamassassin directory.
