Just as an FYI ... even though the officially sponsored Bad People have
called it quits, there are still a number of community Bad People who
intend to continue their Citadel ripoff project. This means we *do* have
to work hard to get Citadel out in front of people, and continue to
improve its value prop, and really make it shine even more than it already
does.

True, we no longer have a situation where it's merely a matter of time
before they sideline us. However, the existence of a volunteer community
of Bad People means that we will have to work harder than ever to
establish ourselves as *the* turnkey, user-focused groupware solution for
the open source world.

I'm ok with making use of hype, even if it's cheesy marketing stuff that
doesn't particularly turn me on. I've changed our project's marketing
slogan to "The Groupware Server for Web 2.0" so that's what people will
see when they visit our web site after reading the Linux Pro (december)
and/or Linux Journal (january) magazine articles.

7.00 needs to be a *big* announcement. Everyone please start thinking
about how we're going to get the word out.

As a reminder: we are now in feature freeze until the abovementioned
release is completed. I expect to finish load testing the Sieve stuff
within the next week or so. Then it's just a matter of updating the
documentation and build notes, and bringing libSieve into the Easy Install
system. If there are any "showstopper" bugs, I need to know about them
ASAP.

 Thanks everyone.
