Hi Adam,
the boot loader was able to boot existing Windows 9X systems and AFAIK
later versions are able to boot Windows XP too. But I have not tried
this for a few years.

But there are a few restrictions imposed by ReactOS and Setup:
1) If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, ReactOS Setup cannot
add an Entry to the BCD (Boot Configuration Database). Adding an
Entry manually might work. OTOH, ReactOS adds an Entry to the boot.ini
(used by all Windows versions up to XP) file automatically if it finds
this file upon setup.
2) ReactOS needs to write to boot.ini. If Windows is installes on an
NTFS partition, you will have to add a Boot Entry manually because
ReactOS cannot write to this file.
3) Right now, ReactOS has some issues accessing logical drives in
extended partitions. These need to be fixed first.
I did not test this with a recent version, so other restrictions might
apply or ReactOS might fail for other reasons. But if you have an
unused harddisk, you might want to try it.
But be warned: Do not try this with a harddisk that hat you use to
work with! ALL DATA ON THAT DISC MIGHT GET LOST!!!!
