Indeed. I objected earlier when a forum user's name was added just because he brought a library to the project's attention. This seems of a similar vein. While these people do deserve to have their contributions noted, anything beyond a simple "patch by X" in the SVN logs for this kind of stuff is in my opinion unwarranted.
