A development machine (one that can build ReactOS and test in a VM) should have
decent specs. You're going to want at least a dual-core, preferably 4 or more
cores to get anything built in decent time. To give you some numbers, my Core
i5-2500K @ 4.1 GHz an 8 GB of RAM can build ReactOS in around 10 minutes. My
laptop's 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo with 6 GB of RAM builds ReactOS in about 25
minutes, but keep in mind both systems build off an SSD. I had a 2.8 GHz
Pentium 4 HT box at one point and if memory serves, it took over an hour and a
half to build ReactOS. Anything slower than that and you're looking at several
hours of build time.

If you're really looking for testing machine (one that can run ReactOS
natively) specs, you can run pretty much anything with a Pentium I or above.
You're going to want at least 128 MB of RAM.

Cameron
