Hermès' "Updated Yesterday" filter looks like it has the answer:
(updated >= startOfDay("-1d") AND updated <= endOfDay("-1d")) ORDER BY created
DESC, key DESC
So I'd do "older than 1 year" as:
created <= startOfDay("-1y") ORDER BY created DESC
