Hi, No is doesn't work instantly, because of ODBC layer in OpenLDAP server which acts like a cache. slapd is so rebooted 4 times to a day to allow propagation of account changes to the LDAP.
So, if you kindly as me, I can reboot the server to fasten the process. There is NO NEED to post on a mailing-list just to ask for something PERSONAL. Contact me either by email (my address is easy to find...) or on IRC for such issues.
