There’s a hell of a lot more to implementing the kernel piece than that one API, but by all means implement the usermode APIs and create a PR.

I'm bit familiar with kernel mode but not with kernel mode APIs. Most of the user mode event tracing APIs connected to ntoskrnl!NtTraceControl().
