Yeah, I saw that and bumped into the support thing when trying to download.

I'm running the free version of 10g for Mac OS X:

    Oracle Database 10g Release 10.1.0.3.0

(I'm not sure where else to look for version info.  The above is printed
when I start the server.)

I think 10g is the only thing that'll run on OS X 10.4.x.

I don't have an x86 machine (yet) so I can't run VMWare.  But I'll keep that
