Using Rose 98, I was able to generate the definition for a friend function in the same implementation file like the rest of the class. To my surprise Rose 2000 C++ refuses to do the very same thing! The declaration is present in the header file, but nothing in the implementation! Am I missing something? Has anyone encountered something like that? Solution?
