The Perl script might be your best option for VSAM or ISAM. We did that before to
reverse engineer ADABAS files into Erwin SQL script. Except in ADABAS we could run a
generic report that displayed the file structure in a consistent format. I'm not sure
this would work for Pascal due to the nature of structures.

Hello,
I would like to know if there is a way to do RE from an application
written in COBOL or PASCAL. I need to recover the data model in order to
bring the app to a 4GL app, like Oracle or SQL Server.
