That is a known issue which is fixed in the next release. You can fix it
manually by the following:
1) Run regedit.exe
2) Find your DB2CLI.DLL file, in most of the case it is in
C:\WINNT\System32 directory
3) Add a string value called "DRIVER" and path where DB2CLI.DLL is
installed as in: C:\WINNT\System32\DB2CLI.DLL in this case under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBC.INI \LocalServer key.
4) When you browse for your ODBC datasource in the RE Wizard, do NOT
select "LocalServer".
There is a full tech note available on this as well.

You could try a DCLGEN, save the output in a text file, and import into Rose
via the script.

Hello,
I have a customer with the following DB2 Problem. If any one out there has
DB2, or can help me with this, I would be very grateful.
I want to reverse engineer a IBM DB2 Data Base with Rose 2000e Enterprise
Edition. After starting the reverse engineer wizzard, choosing 'reverse
engineering from database', choosing 'IBM DB2' as target and typing user and
password no entries are available in the data source list box although these
data sources are defined in ODBC.
unfortunately I can't send you a copy of our database because it is too
huge and it is on a host. Rose should display all data sources defined in
ODBC. But it shows none. If we use MS Access and connect to this DB2 data
base via ODBC it works fine. What are possible causes for Rose not
recognizing ODBC data sources?
Best regards,
Christopher.
