Yes thanks that is correct, I meant to write 2000e not 2000.
In any case here's a list of version numbers.
2001 release will be same as 2001 beta in regards to
petal version:

*Rose 98i on Unix is named 6.0.xxxx BUT is actually 6.1 compatible.
i.e. If you go to SAVA AS menu and select 6.0, you will be saving
back to an older format.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
petal versions:
34 = 2.0 + CRC 1.5
35 = 2.5/2.7 standard
36 = 2.0 --> 2.5 converted
37 - Rose 3.0
40 - Rose 4.0, VM 1.0, all variants, all platforms
41 - The internationalized version of Rose
will use this version for non-ANSI character sets
(otherwise it uses 40).
42 = 6.0 Rose 98 \ 98i (pc)
43 = 6.1 Rose 98i SP1 \ 98i (unix) \ 2000 (added Activity diagrams)
44 = 7.0 Rose 2000e (added Object flow)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
_written KEYWORD in petal file:
FYI, as part of the petal version header that appears at the top of
each petal file, Rational added a new field called "_written" which
will hold the product name and version. This was added to later 4.0
versions. For example:
(object Petal
version 42
_written "Rose 4.0.11")
Rose writes out this information even when saving as 3.0 and 4.0
format. i.e. If you save back to an old fomrat like 3.0, _written
will still show the version of Rose writting this file.
For example:
(object Petal
version 37
_written "Rose 6.5.9232.10")
_written was a unused part of the language, which means
those versions will be able to parse it just fine and not return
any error.
